The mission of our Faith Formation Office is to offer educational and formational opportunities to all members of our parish. We provide support to enable people to grow stronger in their relationship with Christ and develop a greater understanding of the teachings of the Catholic Church. Faith Formation is available for all ages, and we are always looking for volunteers to serve as catechists, program coordinators, office assistants, etc. Faith Formation happens at different times and days to accommodate varying schedules. UPDATED TRAINING REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL ARCHDIOCESE VOLUNTEERS
Are you a volunteer or thinking about volunteering at the Parish? The following requirements have to be met for ALL volunteer positions PRIOR to participating in ministry. All training is on www.virtus.org. All training must be renewed every 3 years.
- Complete a Criminal Background Check (CBC)if you haven’t already done so. The forms can be found on our website or in the parish office.
- Set up an account on VIRTUS.ORG. If you have difficulty accessing VIRTUS, please contact our Parish Office for assistance.
- Read and acknowledge the Code of Conduct.
- Complete ALL three VIRTUS modules: the Sexual Harassment Training, the Vulnerable Adults Training ( If Applicable) and the Protecting God’s Children Training.
