Y.A.M - YOUNG ADULT MINISTRY

The St. Luke Young Adult Ministry (YAM) invites young adults 18+ to grow in holiness through prayer, community and service. (“This is what God asks of you, only this…..To act justly, to love tenderly, and to walk humbly with your God” Micah 6:8) The Mission of the Young Adult Ministry is to encourage growth in relationships with Jesus Christ and other young adults, to commit to living the Gospel in daily life, to advocate and become a voice for social justice, and to serve the least of our brothers and sisters. YAM meets for Young Adult Nights, praise and worship, retreats, leadership development, social events and fundraisers. The ministry welcomes the gifts, energy and vitality of its members in service to the parish and wider community by taking an active role in liturgy. YAM also provides a variety of opportunities for young adults to live their faith through community service including (but not limited to) work with Haven for Hope, St. Vincent de Paul, the homebound, and Habitat for Humanity.
