St. Luke Catholic Church

On September 20, 1959 Monsignor William C. Martin was installed as the first Pastor of our parish. It didn’t take long to recognize the needs of this small but strong parish, and Fr. Martin broke ground on the new buildings for this young Church and School on February 21, 1960. By November 27, 1960 our new buildings were completed and we celebrated our Dedication Day with the Knights of Columbus, our School children, and Archbishop Lucey.

Since that first addition we have continued to improve and build new structures to accommodate the ever-growing needs of our Parish Family. Even today, we are preparing for yet another expansion and renovation to our facilities.

Today, St. Luke’s caters to over 3,000 families through our many ministries and services. Our Catholic School has over 500 students enrolled (Pre-K -8th), our religious education programs guide over 400 children through their faith development, and our 65+ various ministries and organizations serve our parishioners of every age and background.

In June 2007 we welcomed Fr. Jim Barlow to our parish family. Our community has embraced Fr. Jim fully, from his structured leadership to his insightful homilies. In January 2008 we welcomed newly ordained Fr. Edvin Rodriguez as our Parochial Vicar. Our parish has seen many changes over its nearly 50 year existence, and the past year has been no different. We look forward to working together with Fr. Jim & Fr. Edvin as we continue to build for our future.
